The central premise for the creation of a previous work, Ariadne’s Internal Thread, was to have one of the two participants inside an envelope constructed form the drafting film. During their residency at Space A, Nepal, Jonathan and Kapil Mani Dixit created three, though in each case, they swapped between being inside and outside for each envelope. Thus, one side of each was drawn with Jonathan on the outside and Kapil on the inside and then swapped for the other side.
