Violintimacy

An exploration of the violent intimacy inscribed on the psychical body of Tommaso di Vincenzo.

In Butoh dance, as the body moves, it expresses anguish, pain and distress. As Tommaso’s body contorts, the paint moves across the skin, evidencing the emotional transformation occurring.

This work came out of a collaboration with David Cook and Tommaso di Vincenzo.
